Speaker persona
Choose the narrator voice for your Storyboard — professional, humorous, storyteller, executive, or enthusiastic — or create your own.
Persona defines the "voice character" of your Storyboard. The same slide content, narrated ad-lib by different personas in Present mode, sounds entirely different in pacing, word choice, and mood — it tunes the presentation to your audience.
5 built-in personas

The default is professional.
Custom personas
Beyond the 5 built-ins, you can create up to 20 custom personas:
- Go to Settings → Personas;
- Click New;
- Fill in name + description (tell the AI who you are and how you talk);
- Save — selectable from the Persona dropdown in every Storyboard.
The Storyboard panel's Persona dropdown is for selection only; create, edit and delete all happen in Settings.
Description template

Tone: <adjectives like calm / energetic / academic>.
Pacing: <fast/slow>. Perspective: <first-person/third-person>.

Transitions between slides: <connector phrases>.How persona affects output
The persona description has exactly one injection point: when you start present mode (live voice narration), it goes into the system prompt of that realtime session and shapes how the AI improvises — its word choice, pacing, and how it handles audience questions.
It does not change the narration already written into the storyboard, and it does not change how TTS reads that narration aloud — the reading voice is set by the voice parameter, independently of the persona.
