The public VizChat roadmap — what shipped, what is coming next, and the mid-term vision.
VizChat's roadmap is maintained publicly and transparently. Here is the current stage and what's next. The items below indicate direction and priority, not specific delivery dates.
✅ Now (Released)
- VizChat brand + Fumadocs documentation + public Pricing page: this P0 release covers the landing page, bilingual docs, four subscription tiers, and a structured FAQ.
- Starter first-month free: auto-activated on signup, no credit card required. After 30 days it automatically reverts to Free; upgrade any time.
- Public Marketplace: a public, site-level browse page for Widgets and Board templates, with sort, search, and favorites. Anyone can preview an item; reuse happens through favorites or an
@widget:mention in chat. - Conversational widget invocation: the chat input accepts a structured
@widget:<author>/<slug>[@<version>]mention. When you mention a widget, the current context — the open slide, the selected widget, any highlighted text — is automatically bundled and attached to the Agent. No more restating what you are looking at.

Agent-directed operations
Building on the mention primitive above, the Agent can run directed operations. A single sentence like "replace the selected widget with @widget:author/line-chart" will switch the chart type and migrate the underlying data — no menus, no drag-drop.
🔮 Later (Mid-term, unconfirmed)
- MCP App marketplace and ecosystem: third-party developers publish MCP Apps with a standardised way to plug into canvas context.
- Widget monetization / revenue sharing: high-quality Widget authors can charge for their work; platform revenue-share model to be designed.
- Multi-user collaborative canvas: live cursors, comments, branch versions.
