Storyboard overview

A storyboard is one of VizChat's two document types, alongside the dashboard. You pick the type when you create the document and it stays that way — the two use different layout semantics, so a storyboard is never converted into a dashboard or back.

Its canvas is a fixed stage at the document's aspect ratio rather than an infinite surface, and the widgets on it change from slide to slide: each slide's operations bring widgets in, move them, highlight them, and take them away again.

Why Storyboard

• Charts stay live: what you present is the same interactive widget the AI built, not a screenshot pasted into Keynote / PPT.
• Automated narration: every slide carries a Cue script; TTS reads it out sentence by sentence and inline markers trigger the slide's sub-steps at the right moment.

Components

Quick start

1. Create a storyboard document.
2. In chat, describe what you want to present — the AI writes the slides, the widgets on them, and the narration.
3. Reorder in the Outline, and edit the narration and its markers in the Cue editor.
4. Pick a persona, then hit play or press F for fullscreen.
