Create your first document

Step 1: Create the document

After logging in you land on the workspace home. The left panel shows the file tree with the documents in your workspace. Create a New Storyboard or a New Dashboard and give it a name (e.g. "User growth analysis").

Which one to pick:

• Storyboard — step-by-step slides with narration, for presenting and explaining
• Dashboard — an infinite canvas where widgets are laid out freely, for exploring and seeing everything at once

The document type is fixed once created, so pick the shape you actually want to end up with.

Two quicker entry points:

• Use Upload in the file tree's action menu to add a PDF → it is parsed and can be viewed with the pdf-viewer widget
• Use Add Web Bookmark in the file tree's action menu, then paste a URL in the dialog → creates a bookmark you can embed

Step 2: Learn the layout

Storyboard slides don't have a dedicated zoom/fit/lock toolbar — zoom with scroll or pinch instead. A small minimap appears in the bottom-left once you zoom in, for panning around.

Step 3: Generate your first widget through chat

Type a prompt into the chat panel:

Build me a line chart of user growth for the past 6 months

On send, the agent searches the widget library for a line chart, looks up the fields that widget accepts, and writes it into your document with initial data. The chart appears on the canvas, and the chat shows the thinking trace (collapsible).

If the AI used placeholder data, follow up with:

Replace the data with these 6 months: Jan 2000, Feb 3500, Mar 5100, Apr 6800, May 9200, Jun 12500

The agent locates that widget and patches just that field.

Step 4: Iterate

You can:

• Edit a widget directly to change its title, colour, or data
• Select a widget, then chat to have the AI modify only that widget, leaving the others untouched
• Reference a document with @ to point the agent at a specific file in your workspace
