Refund Policy
When and how subscription refunds are issued.
Effective date: August 18, 2026
This policy applies to subscriptions to VizChat, operated by ZenFlow Technology LLC. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
We do not pro-rate the current period. If you cancel mid-month, you are not refunded for the remaining days.
Refund on a first subscription
If you are within 14 days of your first subscription payment and have not consumed any credits, we will refund that payment in full. Email contact@vizchat.ai and we will process it.
Both conditions must hold: within 14 days, and zero credits consumed on that subscription.
Consumed credits are not refundable
Every credit you spend corresponds to a cost we have already incurred with a third-party provider — model inference, document OCR, or speech synthesis are all billed to us per use. Once a credit is consumed, that cost is real and cannot be recovered, so consumed credits cannot be refunded.
This is also why credits are not sold separately: they come with a subscription plan, and there is nothing to refund independently of it.
Service failures
If a failure on our side prevented you from using the service, contact us. We handle these case by case, and a credit or refund is a normal outcome — this policy is not intended to make you pay for our downtime.
How to request a refund
Email contact@vizchat.ai from the address on your account, and tell us which payment you are asking about. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to your original payment method, and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. We would rather resolve it directly, and a dispute filed without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while it is investigated.
